The BBC Africa Eye documentary, Sex For Grades has been nominated for the 2020 International Emmy Awards under the News & Current Affairs category.

The Sex For Grades is an investigative documentary by Nigerian Investigative and Documentary Filmmaker, Kiki  Mordi for BBC Africa highlighting the plights and complains of females students in Nigerian and Ghanaian Tertiary Institutions of sexual harassment from their lecturers and professors. The  BBC undercover report captures evidence of lecturers and professors in West Africa’s top universities  indulging in sexual misconduct.

The nomination for the 2020 International Emmy’s Awards for News & Current Affairs  has 8 nominees from 6 countries: Brazil, Nigeria, Qatar, Russia, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The news and current affairs programs chosen for the nomination are programs broadcast between January 1 to December 31, 2019.

The winners of the 2020 International Emmy News Awards will be recognized on September, 21. 2020 during an online ceremony along side their American news counterparts.
