
Anti-racism demonstrators and far-right protesters who took to the streets of London in response to recent Black Lives Matter rallies sparked by the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis last month.
Britain’s far-right groups shouted racial slogans at the anti-racism protesters. As skirmishes broke out, the Metropolitan Police made some arrests of about 113 persons.
In a twist of faith, a Black activists, according to Reuter’s journalists at the scene, was identified by spectators helping an injured man and far-right protester to safety.
