Racial Killings: “when does it stop?”

Just three weeks after the murder of George Floyd, another one bites the dust!

Rashard Brooks gunned down from the Back in the city of  Atlanta, state of Georgia. “Another grieving African American family,” writes- the Associated Press. This latest death came amid heightened tensions across the U.S. three weeks after George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis, State of Minnesota.

What and how could one describe the situation? Why kill an unarmed person, albeit, with a shot from the Back? Someone whose Back is towards you shows that he or she is trying to avoid confrontation. The officer could have allowed him to run away and get him afterwards. After all, Brooks Car was at the parking lot, AND WITH THE REGISTRATION NUMBER the deceased could have been located easily! For God’s sake, this is a man who in his last hours, was trying to avoid trouble. He slept off in his Car after attending his daughters birthday event. Could this have been avoided? Yes! – if Brooks possibly had failed to attend the event? But why will he not attend his daughters birthday event? Or, if only the busybodies have allowed him to take his nap, to enable him to refresh gently: probably, Brooks death could have been prevented, more so, if the policemen had let him be in the parking lot, even with just a warning? This last option seems the best option would not only save the pains but present policing with a human face.
